The notary is an indispensable and fundamental figure in the field of extrajudicial private legal traffic. The Notary is a public official and a legal professional. It exercises notarial public faith giving legal certainty to the contract and guarantees legal advice on all aspects of private law, drafting rigorously and in accordance with the clients and documents that contain any legal act or business. “Individuals have the right to freely choose a notary public without further limitation than those provided for in the legal system” (article 3 RD June 2, 1944 Notarial Regulation).

The notary authorizes public deeds, policies, minutes, issuing copies, testimonies, legitimations and legalizations, keeping the documents in Protocols and Books-Records of Commercial Operations.
